What is a bodysuit?

A bodysuit is a 1-piece baby garment. They are sometimes called creepers or bodysuits and can be used as an undershirt (under clothes) or as an outfit. Bodysuits are probably considered the most necessary item in a baby’s layette. I love bodysuits because they:

· Act as a barrier between a baby’s tender skin and clothes.

· Are easy to get on and off.

· Add an extra layer of warmth and protection from drool and other messes.

· Prevent diaper leaks by holding the diaper closer to the baby.

· Keep diapers from sticking out of the top of baby's pants.

· Prevent babies from getting their diaper off on their own.

 

Where are your bodysuits made?

Our bodysuits, bibs and pants are manufactured overseas by a US-based company committed to excellence. Our manufacturer is dedicated to providing employees with an atmosphere of pride and dignity, safe and healthy working spaces and state-of-the-art facilities. Each bodysuit is screenprinted by hand, right in Massachusetts, in small quantities to ensure quality. They are not mass produced.

 

What are your bodysuits, pants, and bibs made of?

Our bodysuits, pants and bibs are made of 100% super soft cotton. Our garments are not made with flame resistant chemicals or fibers. Although The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission does not require sleepwear to be made out of flame resistant fibers any longer, they do recommend that children's sleepwear be tight or snug fitting.  Legally we must state that our bodysuits are not intended as sleepwear.

 

What are your sun hats made of?

Our hats are made of 100% cotton super fine twill with cotton poplin lining. They are very soft and comfortable for baby to wear.
